Being a cosmetologist and a cosmetology instructor, I have a TON of hair tools everywhere.  Even though I haven't been in the school or salon in about 15 years, I still have most of my supplies stashed somewhere in my house.

After cleaning out a closet the other week, I came across a box that had perm rods in them.  Why?  Who knows!  I guess I saved them..... just in case..... I ever wanted to make a hairstylist wreath for my friends salon!  ;)

What a perfect way to welcome all of your clients to your salon!  Or the sweetest gift you can make and give to your favorite hairstylist or salon owner.

What you'll need:

Assorted perm rods
Round wire wreath frame

This DIY hairstylist wreath is sooooo simple.  All you need to do is attach the perm rods!  Just undo the cap, slip it around the back of the wreath, and reconnect the rod.

Just keep attaching your perm rods until you have it as full as you would like it.  I wanted my wreath to be very full, so I ended up using about 85 perm rods for my 12" wreath frame.

Once I got done, I used this easy wood sign DIY to make a "hello beautiful" sign for the wreath as well.  I drilled a small hole through the top of the wood on each side and slipped a piece of wire through to attach the sign to the frame.
