I love a sweet fairy garden, but I was still looking for a something different than setting up something in my outdoor garden or this mini indoor fairy garden I made and I created something perfect - a fairy garden wreath! And like many of my DIY's - I got everything at the dollar store! What you will need: foam wreath frame artificial spanish moss artificial decorative moss assortment mini fairy garden accessories monofilament line battery powered led wire lights hot glue gun and glue Begin by lightly pulling apart your spanish moss and hot gluing it on to your wreath frame. I like to keep the moss mostly together so that it is much easier to glue onto the wreath frame. Once you have your spanish moss nicely secured to your frame you can start adding your fairy garden accessories. I arranged my pieces onto my wreath to decide on a layout and then used the fishing line to secure them into place. Once you have your accessories in place, glue on some of the decorative mosses to give your fairy garden wreath more dimension and details. Then it's time to position your wire lights in place and secure the battery pack, with the opening of facing outward, onto the bottom back side of your wreath with hot glue. Once it has dried it is ready to be hung up or gifted to a fellow fairy garden lover! do it yourselfWant more DIY's? |
