I found this candlestick chandelier at our local thrift store for $5 and knew exactly what I was going to do with it - turn it into a solar chandelier!

There's nothing I love more than spending time out in the backyard and this solar chandelier gives a great amount of light and doesn't run up the electric bill.  Win - Win!

What you'll need:

a candlestick chandelier
solar lights
E6000

Depending on how your chandelier looks or if you want, you can paint your chandelier.  Mine looked great, so I didn't bother painting mine.  If you need to, give it a fresh coat with your favorite color of spray paint.

Start by taking the posts off of the bottom of your solar lights.

Then take your E6000 glue and add some glue around the top edge of your of each of your chandelier edges.

Then take each of your solar lights and set each light into each chandelier opening.  Twist them around a bit to make sure the glue gets under the edge of each light real good and set it aside to dry overnight.  Don't worry about your lights going dead.  With these lights, you just need to twist off the top black bulb portion and replace it with a new one if you need to!

When your chandelier has dried you are ready to take it outside and hang it up.  I wished I had a pergola in our backyard because it would look awesome hanging underneat it.  I hung mine up in our little cottage garden area of the backyard and it's right along a walkway and it gives such a beautiful glow at night.
