The best part though, is that the entire thing cost me $4! Yes, this is another awesome dollar store craft project. What you'll need: 2 small or 1 large roll of white deco mesh (2) 2 pks of the mini wire wreath frames (need 3 frames) zip ties or pipe cleaners for attaching deco mesh ribbon Start by attaching your deco mesh to your wreath frame with a zip tie or pipe cleaner by gathering the end and wrapping your pipe cleaner around the deco mesh and the wreath frame. When I use pipe cleaners, I usually cut them into 4 or 5 smaller pieces. Keep working around your wreath attach the deco mesh until you are happy with how full it is and how it looks. I wrapped the deco mesh around each frame about 3 times. Once your wreaths are finished, use a zip tie to connect and secure each frame to the other one, making the shape of a snowman. When your snowman wreath is finished, it should look similar to this: Finish up by attaching your ribbon or a small scarf around your snowmans neck area so he looks as if he's wearing a scarf. Then hang him up on your front door to welcome all of your guests this winter! Can't find these items at your local dollar store? Get them online at DollarTree.com do it yourselfWant more DIY's? |
