pool noodle hack

Looking for an easy way to repurpose a pool noodle?  Or how about a cheap and easy way to protect your car door from dinging the wall of your garage every time you open the door?  I've got both!

What you will need:

a pool noodle
2 screws
2 washers
drill

When we first moved into this house it was very clear that the previous owners didn't care about banging their car door into the wall - there are dents everywhere!




Take a screw and poke it through one end and the side of the pool noodle into the middle of it.  Then with the tip of the screw in the middle opening of the pool noodle, slide in a washer and push your screw through it.  Then take your drill and drill the screw into the wall.  The washer is there to keep the pool noodle in place, otherwise your noodle will just slip over your screw and fall off the wall.



Now you don't have to worry about dinging your door or the wall every time you open your car door - the pool noodle will save them both!
