Let me start off by saying, washing with soap and water is always best for removing yucky stuff from your hands, but when that is not available, hand sanitizer is your next best option. There are many recipes out there for hand sanitizer, but if you are looking to kill germs and bacteria, the CDC recommends using at least 90% alcohol. What you will need: 91% rubbing alcohol aloe vera essential oils for scent 2 ounce spray bottles This is super easy to put together. I mixed up 1 cup alcohol to 1/4 cup of aloe vera and was able to fill up about (4) 2 ounce bottles and have a little bit left over. If you are using essential oils top off your bottle with about 5 drops of your favorite essential oil. We made a few different mixtures. They were half lemongrass and lime, one with lavender, one with grapefruit and one with orange. And they sure beat the the ones from the store and they work great at killing germs, viruses and bacteria. do it yourself/h2> Want more DIY's? |
