This post may contain affiliate links. This such an easy way to make a cute looking sign for cheap. This sign cost me $3! Best part? I got it all at my local dollar store. What you will need: poster board wood looking contact paper a wall sticker First, cut apart your sticker how you would like it to look so you know how big to cut your poster board down to. I layed mine out, used a ruler to make my lines and then cut the poster board down with a utility knife. Once you have your poster board cut to size, cut strips of your contact paper about 2" wide and long enough to cover each side. Remove the backing of your contact paper and lay about 1" of it on the front of your poster board and wrap the rest on to the back. Smooth it all out so it sticks down nice. It should look like a picture frame. Then just add your sticker to the inside of your frame and voila! A cute farmhouse looking sign for $3! And if you're like me, you have plenty of contact paper and poster board left over to make a few more signs. dollar sore signsWant more DIY's?
