This post may contain affiliate links. Need the perfect housewarming gift? Or just a unique gift for that hard to buy for person? These are perfect. Who couldn't use an extra cutting board, especially one that's been personalized for them?! Or one that includes some fantastic cheese and a bottle of wine ;) What you'll need: wood cutting boards printer ball point pen woodburner or creative versa tool Start by choosing an image, name or design that you would like to put on your cutting board. You could design it yourself or find an image online. Then print off the image in an appropriate size for your cutting board. My boards about are about 4X6 in size, so I printed off an image in a wallet size. Tape your image in place on your cutting board. Then take a ball point pen and trace over your image, using enough pressure to put a dent into the cutting board. Once you have your image traced onto the board, remove your paper. Then, using your wood burner or creative versa tool, trace back over the image on your cutting board. Having the image already dented into the wood will make tracing it with your wood burner much easier. Then clean it up with some soap and water and either gift it or use it. These little cutting boards look absolutely adorable on display too! |
