It's too putzy and busy for me to put up at my house, but I love looking at all the details when someone else puts one up ;) But when I spotted these adorable little Christmas village decor pieces at the dollar store I knew I had the perfect idea for making my own Christmas village - all on a wreath! What you will need: Christmas wreath dollar store Christmas village pieces monofilament fishing line battery operated lights Start by laying out your wreath and arranging your pieces on top just to get a general layout idea. ![]() Once you have it arranged how you like it, start using your monofilament line to attach your pieces to your wreath. Then add your lights to your tree. I used these lights for my wreath and love them! I love that these lights are almost hidden in the wreath and that they have a timer on them. So every night they automatically go on and off whenever I start them! It's perfect for putting on the front door so they light up without any cords. ![]() Now I have an adorable little Christmas village that I don't have to worry about dusting around it or it getting knocked over. It's perfect for me! ![]() Can't find these items at your local dollar store? Find them online at DollarTree.com do it yourselfWant more DIY's? |
