I love having mini trees out for the holiday season, but now I can have them out almost all year long and make them match with my holiday decor. For this DIY, I made a tree for Easter, Fall and for Valentine's day. I plan on making one St. Patrick's day, another one for Christmas and maybe a seperate one for Halloween as well. Like I said, I love these mini artificial trees! What you will need: a bunch of table top artificial trees spray paint in your choice of color With the holidays soon approaching and many stores now getting out their holiday decor, I was able to snag a few of these trees from the dollar store. My suggestion, get at least 1-5 more. I started with one for Valentine's Day and easily decided I needed one for just about every possible holiday since they are so cute and easy to make. Open up your tree and stretch out all the branches so that none of them are touching the one next to each other. Then all you need is a can of your favorite spray paint. Spray your tree all over real good and then turn it upside down and get all of the rest of the spots that you missed. You really only need 1-2 good coats of paint, just enough to cover up the white color (or green if you have a green tree). Let it dry good and then it's ready to decorate! Here's a picture of my Valentine's day tree and my fall tree. You can see how you can easily do them in any color you want and for any holiday. Is your local dollar store out of the trees?
